I saw that one, though there's so little information on the page that it could well be referring to the original 2012 Blu-ray. Oh well.

No, it was a Blu-ray. I still have it at my parents' house lol. I think SW moved to Blu-rays starting with Grace for Drowning.
Yep, that was his first Blu-ray release and also the very first album I ever bought in that format.

** Update ** I reviewed the back cover on that amazon listing again, looking more carefully it shows the 2024 Atmos and video details so it's definitely for the 2024 BR.

Since I posted, my wife came to me with a USD pre-paid CC she received. So, I put in the order from Amazon, given the exchange rate doesn't matter in that case
ImportCDs was a bit cheaper but Amazon will arrive weeks earlier. Thanks for the tip though.

From the early reviews it sounds like this Atmos double dip is worth it. Since the price on Importcds dropped to $15.98

Ok, after reading the reviews I'm sold, I'll pull the trigger despite my huge reluctance to buy a given album more than once.
Is the Drag Ropes video in surround also? I mean the videoclip - the live recording is specified as stereo on the package. Would be nice, but normally these videos come only in stereo.

I’m not even a huge fan of this album despite being a SW/Akerfeldt fan, but for $15, what the hell. Perhaps it will replace Foo Fighters: In Your Honor Disc 2 as my new favorite nap time surround choice.

Thanks, that's a bit disappointing then, but not a deal breaker for me.
A couple of things I'm curious about:
1) Is the 5.1 fold down of the new Atmos mix any sort of a different listening experience than the old dedicated 5.1 mix? Or are they pretty much the same?
2) How is the 16 minute mini-documentary? Does it add much value to the package?

I can only comment on the second one: most of it is a conversation between Mikael and Steven in a record shop. Not very interesting, in my opinion (watch once and forget)
