Seen the Chargers do this lots, way too often.

I've always associated the Chargers with lousy defenses. I suspect that it goes back to the days of Dan Fouts. Remember that playoff game in the early 80's when SD was up big against Miami in the first half but had to go into OT to win? Fouts probably would have a Super Bowl ring or two if he hadn't played for a team where he had to score a touchdown on every offensive series.

Wow, you guys, sounds like a few Niner doubters in here. Or maybe just tired of my gloating.
Nervous, yes of course, but at half I was glad because I knew they would all give themselves a kick in the pants.
Purdy is still amazing to everyone. Yes, I was at the game. When your team is clearly better than the other team, I don't get too nervous.
But next week, not sure who and what day/time we play, the nerves will go up significantly every game.

no doubt on my part Markie ( I had them winning big ) ..BUT ---did have fun saying Lions 24 Niners 20 if coulda woulda shoulda

I told you all so. Even when they were 27 points down, I absolutely knew that the Jags would come back to win the game. ;)
Now, I have this bridge for sale...
They were only 1.5 point underdogs, so not really that much of an upset. The only thing that made it remarkable was the fact that they had to come back from a huge deficit. (Honestly it reminded me of a typical Ravens game)

I'd be much more impressed if you had predicted the Friday night MegaMillions numbers. :D

Per KTLA:
UP NEXT

Chargers: Will have a tough offseason dealing with this loss.

Jaguars: Await their road divisional opponent, which likely will be top-seeded Kansas City next weekend. The Chiefs won their regular-season meeting.

Likewise my nerves will go up with the next round. But I will be in
Walley World next weekend so a bit insulated from it.

I was kind of high when I got home last night, ordered a pizza and was watching the Jags/Chargers, what a blow out, nodded off of course, went to bed.
Just eating breakfast now and WOW-O-WOW Jags won, man, sorry I missed that.
Part of me always roots for the Jags because it is the favorite football team of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Susan Tedeschi always sings a National Anthem once a year I think.

Tied!

OK, as you all know my WISH is a Bills/Niners Superbowl. If the Bills play SF like they played Miami, Niners WIN.
Well your logic is sound however, football is rarely logical. So for now, pull out Aerosmith and Dream On.
Seriously, a Bills/49ers match up is most probable but, if the Bills play like they played Miami against either of their next two opponents, they won't even get that far.

I do not expect the Bills to make that many mistakes the rest of the way. Yes, they may lose, but it won’t be due to grotesque play like they exhibited today. The Bills were also fortunate that the Fins dropped a few passes on their rookie QB.
