The NFC north isnt a division i follow closely, but it seems like not too long ago the Lions owned last place.
You're right LuvMyQuad!
Yes, but the Lions were just sort of squatters there for a few years till the Bears retook full time occupancy again!
The way the teams are now in the nfc north, it's going to be tough for the bears to be in any other spot than last for some time!

To quote Nick Brinkerhoff in USA Today:

"Death, taxes and the New York Jets not having a capable quarterback.

Few things in life are more guaranteed than that. Since hoisting The Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 3, a dark cloud has hung over the franchise, resembling something that can only be explained as a higher power with some vested interest in the Jets continued mediocrity..."

ar, the “higher power” part is nonsense unless the big man upstairs has decided that the Jets’s chances at future success are totally contingent on whether or not Woody Johnson remains the owner. Even ceding ownership to another member of the Johnson family would give the team something of a chance.

Try explaining that "higher power is nonsense" thing to @cbmmm3 .

if Woody would happen to cede ownership to another family member is a real scary thought. Doesn't he have a couple of spoiled brat kids that mingle and make decisions regarding the team already ?
It can be something of a crapshoot. Compare George and Hank Steinbrenner, Al and Mark Davis. I’m sure that there are other examples in the sports world. Bottom line is, you never know.

For the record, Al Davis and George Steinbrenner produced winners; not so with Woody.
