Yes Gene, well said!! They have a ways to go yet.... I was definitely rooting for the Bears! I HATE THE VIKINGS.
Watching the game yesterday, it seems to me that the passing offense is way off.
Since Caleb won't force the ball in there, there should be quick timing plays. Could be he hangs on to the ball too long, the wrs patterns are off or something. Maybe the o-line blocking or play calling is at fault too.
Seemed guys were open... But he isn't reading it right or at all. & when he takes off, he appears to be not that elusive & doesn't seem to gain that much anyway!
It was painful to watch! ....Aikman mentioned about a young QB losing confidence & if need be, take him out!
Could be..It would really be to bad to screw Williams up at this stage of his career. He may become a very good QB eventually!
I thought the Bears 'D' was ok for much of the game. But not enough to shut the Vikings down!
That job may fall to the Packers & Lions, in that order!
