You are such a BAD BOY, Gene!!!!
DOWN IN FROOOOONT!!!!!!
Just saw Hudson last night - a jazz quartet with John Scofield, Jack DeJohnette, John Medeski, and Larry Grenadier.
Isn't Jack D amazing? So much energy for a guy who's been around so long.
Saw them in June in Boulder, right as the album was released.
Two of the first four tunes were Hendrix covers, as I recall.
Going to The City tonight to the small venue, Biscuts And Blues, fried chicken, Lavay Smith And Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers.
Really good venue, had a great time, you are up close with the band. I would like to see Harvey Mandel this ThursdayThis looks like a cool place to watch a band
Last night I saw King Crimson in Atlanta. Outstanding show. I knew relatively little about this current lineup so was delightfully surprised by the setlist which featured the '69-'74 period. The frontline of three drummers was an inspired and brilliant decision. The musicianship and interplay between the three was an absolute joy to behold. They play the same venue tonight and I was able to secure a ticket this morning and will be returning.
Hey, I was there too! Great show
Just picked up tickets to see Styx 1/28 in Beverly Hills... taking the whole family! (My son and daughter dig Styx too)
