We are honored at your presence! Welcome aboard!Hi, all!
My name is Patrick Milligan, and I'm Senior Director of A&R at Rhino Records, and part of the team bringing you our series of Quadio releases for Rhino.com. I work very closely with Steve Woolard who is a longtime friend and colleague, and a longtime member and poster on this forum. I've followed and read the forum for awhile, but finally decided to sign up. Thanks for having me!
Cheers! We are all excited to have you on board, and hope that you post when you have new news, or just want to ask questions now and again.Hi, all!

Gotta let us know what sounded especially great with the newly developed 4-chan surround. I love 70s quad as much as 5.1, and sometimes more depending on the album and artist of course.Hello All. I am most certainly NOT a "big wig". Just Ian, a gent who enjoyed surround decades ago but didn't have the right room to connect up all of those wires again. When my girlfriend moved in and brought back the two speakers I once gave her, it occurred to me that 2+2=4, and now with today's Bluetooth wireless capabilities, quad and 5.1 were once again a possibility.
I've been reading reviews on this site of various releases and appreciating everyone's input. Having only set up surround this past weekend, I've been taking nearly every bit of free time I've had to play every disc I own that's in quad or 5.1. And rather than write anymore at the moment, I think that's precisely what I'm going to do again now...
I’m not sure how I missed this when it first appeared, but it’s definitely nice to have one of the movers and shakers in the discussion. I’m certain most of us want to hear a lot more from you going forward.Hi, all!

Hello, Ian, and welcome aboard! Everyone has a starting point, and although mine was half a century ago, it was more meager than yours, so I have faith that your interest and passion will grow for a long time to come. Just watch your wallet - this stuff is addictive!Hello All. I am most certainly NOT a "big wig". Very nice room - definitely Scandanavian, which is a good thing. We have a pretty good bunch of people here, most of which are pretty informed about goings on in the surround sound world, so I expect you’ll both learn a lot and share a lot.Hello, everyone! I'm a new member here. I've recently immersed myself in the world of Atmos music, and that's why I decided to join this forum. It seems like a fantastic place to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share valuable insights, and engage in enlightening discussions. I'm looking forward to being an active part of this community and sharing my passion.
As a token of my enthusiasm, here's a picture of my room
Oh, don't I know it already! Luckily I have more surround discs in my collection already than I even realized. But I've quickly been grabbing some I don't want to totally miss out on, and that's adding up quickly!Hello, Ian, and welcome aboard! Vintage quad certainly makes sense! I haven’t shopped for any gear for a while, but I imagine it’s out there, and some of it is (might be) affordable.Hello all. I am a new member. I have been a long-time audio enthusiast and collector of music. I only recently completed assembling a vintage audio system (including returning to vinyl after a very long break) and am interested in putting together a surround system and/or quad vintage system (if that makes sense). And, that's a big reason as to why I am here - to learn from folks with much more experience in this area and, hopefully, become a better participant. Thanks for having me and cheers!
Good morning everyone. I'm Diego and I'm from Naples (Italy) and I'm a great enthusiast of surround sound and since some time I started buying audio bluray and audio DVD (because I love the physical medium).
I'm sure I will spend a great time here.Thank you for accepting me into this great communityu
