Oh boy...you are really starting to annoy me:ugham:...but I'm NOT going to get a turntable...I don't care how many awesome LP's you buy...ain't gonna happen:xp:

haha - man.....I never thought I'd get so much pleasure from vinyl..... I think I'm beyond justifying my table purchase...now I"m just having fun. Zeroing in on some key albums that are just...well....cool.

The only positive would be the exercise I'd get changing sides/albums every 20 minutes and cleaning the vinyl before every play...

OH, way more positives.....the bonding me and my 23 year old son have while he is fascinated with vinyl and him seeing me go through the motions....he appreciates all the stuff I lived through back in the day and the fact that I can bring some of that right into our lives now.... priceless. He and I have some excellent moments together with my vinyl...and nearly every other weekend, he brings me some old school vinyl from 2nd hand shop...just so he can see how I react. So much fun...

That's so cool...I'm glad you are having so much fun with your son...I was tempted to go the vinyl route a few years ago... but that ship has sailed for me...I could get addicted real fast due to the nostalgia factor alone...maybe before you buy vinyl in the future you should treat it like we do with hi rez titles...ask around on here...there are a lot of vinyl members and they are usually very open and friendly about their purchases...

Finally!!!!

Hi DennisMoore Jr - the original Star trek is great, both series and the movies, the on-screen chemistry and friendship between Kirk and Spock are unik I think.

We Norweigians are... well Norwegians :)

I will order Fear of a Blank Planet soon - In Absentia seems OOP?
