The Sugarhill Gang's another Silverline 5.1 winner! (y)

It sure is, sir - and your recommendation is to blame for me buying this disc twice (to make sure I still can accidentaly destroy or vaporize one):smokin

Out Of Time - R.E.M. (CD + DVD-A).

Well I couldn't find it (its probably buried under a pile of junk somewhere!? ) to test if it played through ok, after Dixie4 Rob's issues with his new disc of this, so I just bought a cheap used one just to see! I'll give it a spin tonight and report back.

Please do !! Adam. I reckon i'll receive my replacement disc tomorrow ? Had no problems with the other REM discs I received last week.

Oh dear !!! I've just had another " cognitive moment " ( Need to rest ! ) It's " Green " i'm waiting for. I played " Out Of Time " again, at the weekend, and it was fine.

Ok, so I'm gonna bite. I had a very poor experience with the Silverline Gary Numan release, but I love The Sugarhill Gang, so I've bought this new for £6. What other Silverline DVD-A's are worthy of checking out? Did I see that there's a Motorhead one?

EDIT: Just found this post :)

Well, I ordered The Sugarhill Gang disc. The only other one there that interests me is Motorhead, so thanks for that :)

FYI - 3-4 tracks on the Sugarhill Gang disc are true discrete 5.1 - the rest are Silverline Surround-o-matics.... The ones that have been done properly are done well...

interesting there's synthesized stuff (not surprising given the nature of the recordings incorporating all those samples etc, i suppose!? my lasting impression was fidelity far better than I was expecting as well as a very respectable surround mix, good all round fun and something different in surround at least. does that sound like a fair critical appraisal for those that have it?

Finally
