TOP GUN SOUNDTRACK-SACD
EVERYTHING MUST GO- DVD-A(Steely Dan)

What's Top Gun selling for these days? I've bought that one twice. The first time a standard CD was inside the SACD case. Got a refund on that but was allowed to keep it. Then the same day that happened I found an actual SACD over at FYE for $8 so everything worked out fine in the end. Sure like those bonus tracks otherwise it would be a fairly weak album.

I always like dealing with good companies who want to keep your business rather than nickel and dimeing you when they were the ones who screwed up. This happened to me way back when SACD's were around 15 bucks. I ordered Both Billy Joel 52nd Street and The Sranger and they sent me 2 Strangers by accident. They allowed me to keep both and they sent me a 52nd Street free of charge. You don't always get that type of service...

Wishbone Ash - Bare Bones dvda
Moody Blues - Seventh Sojourn sacd (an old favourite of mine, which I only had on vinyl. Sounds very nice indeed)
Elton John - Captain Fantastic (don't shoot me, but I'd never even heard this before! The raving about this on this forum convinced me to finally get it. The sound, from what I've heard so far, is a 10. The music will have to grow on me.

The music had to grow on most people, even back in 1975. But the good news is that (for most fans) it really does deliver upon repeated listening.

Ugh, why doesn't it say surround on this thread in the thread title? The very first post says nothing about surround.

When I look at the recently added posts, I see this listed as What's the latest SACD or DVD-A added to your pile? This is listed under Surround Sound - Non format specific discussion. Perhaps it is not specifically listed in the title, but you have to go through a surround listing to get to this discussion. Not trying to be difficult, just pointing out that it is listed as a surround discussion.
