Thanks again! I was waiting for it to go on sale. I picked it up yesterday. Glad it was still in stock. I also got the Foreigner 4, and Fleetwood Mac - Say You Will DVDAs. I can't say I am a huge fan or anything, but I am just loving the Foreigner. Another great Mch mix. The music brings back a lot of nice memories. I'll give Fleetwood a spin later today. :brew

Turn up the volume on the tune Come. The guitar solo in that is blazing..............the Lindsey Buckingham stuff on that disc is pretty good.

There are some good parts on it... but that disc is pretty "raw"...not polished at all...I should get it out and listen to it...it's been awhile...

I'm about to listen to my DVD-A of "Rumours". I still have not rated it on QQ and remember wanting to give it a 7 or 8. I have and really like "Say You Will" DVD-A (musical content) but don't listen to it much anymore. I missed the boat on the Foreigner DVD-A discs and really wished I would have picked up "4".

I gave it an 8...but it's a 10 in content for me...special album for me...

Listening to it now. I was wrong. On "Silver Springs" at the moment but so far it's an 8. A little bright on some numbers. Great music! Happy New Year!!!:sun

I gave Fleetwood Mac - Say You Will a first listening today. Musically, I was impressed! I was expecting a mellow, aged type of feel to the music. But, these songs rock. And yes, Snood... The guitar on Come is great! I do miss Christine McVie, though. She contributed so much to their classic albums. An 8 for the music. A solid effort.

And now for the negative. While the surround mix is pretty good, the general sound quality of the mix is a bit loud. And even in surround, the voices & instruments sound muddled. It sounds over produced. My ears got a little tired in some songs. I put on Steely Dan - Everything Must Go for comparison and could feel a noticeable difference. It also has modern and crisp sound, but no ear fatigue. So unfortunately, a 6 for sound for Say You Will.

Granted this is only my initial impression. I look forward to getting to know the music more. For now, I'll be conservative and give this one an overall 7.

That is pretty close to what I felt...the sound quality is bright...even ear bleeding at times...

Oh, I rather like it.. it'd be better in M/C (of course!) but still I prefer it to the old EK34188 cd I've had since the early 90's and the SACD pans out rather nicely in PLII to boot! G'waan, go for it and you'll be smokin' baby I'm not jokin'!
