I also had no communication and they just showed up as well. Which made everything alright. I'll just say that, while it's obvious that Rhino had some issues, my experience with the USPS the last several weeks, makes me think that some of the issues are with them. I'm not going to go into specifics but the USPS ain't what it used to be.To allay fears of those who have received no notifications from Rhino post-purchase:
I received my Paranoid today, singly, apart from the other four releases in my order. I have thus far received no communication from Rhino, nor have any tracking numbers been added to my order on the website, though the order status did change from "Ordered" to "In Progress." The tracking number for Paranoid did pop up automatically in my Informed Delivery account through USPS. I was then able to add it manually to my UPS account to track the pre-USPS movement. I have no doubt the remaining three Quadios (plus the other CD I ordered) will be shipped soon, notification or not.
Be patient. Good things come to those who wait.
Gene, would it have hurt you or your missus to have invited Vince in for a soft drink? A beer would have been great way back when, but he's a tea-totaler now.
Oh, and he doesn't like to be called Vince. Bet he'll never talk to me because of this. So what, he didn't talk to me before anyway!
But seriously folks, Grace Wing, Martin Buchwald, Papa John and the gang are on the main system now. Nightmares and Billion $$ Vinnie are next. All just showed up! I now have my two fave songs on Q LP, CD and BD. Beginnings SQ (#1) and CD-4 Miracles (#2). Beginnings is already on Quadio x3: Quadio box x2 (CTA & Greatest Chicago 9), and CTA DVD-V.
"Love is a magical world few ever find in a lifetime." Martin Buchwald (Balin) RIP
Same boat as you, Blackwood (if it's any consolation). Paranoid arrived Monday; Nightmares today. I haven't had a word--or a shipping notification--about the other two. My Rhino Store order does show that I paid for the bundle, though.Any hope that Rhino could somehow fit 3 discs in a box meant to hold and weigh the same as one vanished when the J. Geils disc arrived moments ago... alone.
He’ll join his brother, Paranoid, by the Bluray player. (Paranoid is amazing in quad. What a joy that disc is.)
Two down, two go. Hoping Rhino knows that as well and doesn’t think this completes my order.
I hope I haven't been "Scammed" here. I ordered my bundle the 23rd and haven't seen any ship notice. I contacted Rhino on their website about it and got an auto reply email back, overnight that stated imy request couldn't be processed and to try again at a later date. I looked at the FAQ link and it showed a 7-10 day order processing time ? You've gotta be kidding.... Anyway, hope I see something soon. It scared me to see here that members have gotten theirs already. Really hope that was a Legit site. That's a lot of Cash to try and get reimbursed from my bank if so.... Sorry that I put this in the reviews topic. I don't know any better. Lol.Please post your thoughts and comments on this new reissue of the classic Jefferson Starship album "Red Octopus".
This new Blu-Ray audio release is part of Rhino Records' Quadio series and marks the first time that the original 1970s Quadraphonic mix has been properly remastered and reissued on a high-res disc format.
Thanks. It’s the fact that I know others are going through the same thing that has made this easier to take, along with a hopefully well-founded trust that it will all work out.Same boat as you, Blackwood (if it's any consolation).

In this case, I think the issues are fairly squarely on Rhino's fulfillment company, Gnarlywood. They were clearly wholly unprepared for this set of releases.I also had no communication and they just showed up as well. Which made everything alright.
