The conversation ended with a refund for the two titles. The gal I spoke with (via e-mail) apologized for some mistaken info she told me in an earlier e-mail, mainly about the two titles being pre-orders. I told her I accepted the apology and thanked her for the refund.


That's the same info I got from Rhino in an email the other day. Are those 2 discs (Red Octopus and B$B) going to be shipped soon? Or do I need to ask for a refund as well and reorder those separately?

Just received an order cancellation notice for B$B what the hell! Ordered these at 2 AM on release day! Sabbath showed up today.

I also received a cancellation e-mail from Leigha at the Rhino Store for my B$B order. A "technical issue" was the reason for cancellation.
I ordered only B$B a few minutes after the links appeared on the Rhino website when B$B was still showing as "pre-order". I came here afterwards and saw @ForagingRhino's comment here that we should hold off placing orders until the discs show as "in stock". Too late!
I wonder if the "technical issue" was because I ordered it too soon? Or maybe it because the way the quad and stereo tracks are authored on the disc?

Great question @ctoelle ... I don’t know. We didn’t talk about shipping schedules as I don’t intend to re-order.

It seems to me that everyone is going to have to get a specific answer from Rhino based on what they see in their system about each account, and what option you’re given once they start the direct communication.

If it was a title I really, really wanted, I probably wouldn’t wait ... I'd order an extra copy before they run out. I happen to know they have an extra copy of Red Octopus and B$B now.

I got a credit from WMG presumably for extra importation charges due to multiple shipments.
But my order is shipping within the US.
Maybe my Canadian billing address triggered the refund.
Ain’t complaining, it’ll cover the shipping (or the coupon code I missed).

Also emailed them today about JS & B$B asking if I should send out the search party or let it play out.

I just noticed in my order confirmation email; it says the missing titles are to be released August 3, I suspect that’s part of the issue.

Just an FYI,,, all titles except BS Paranoid are still able to be ordered at Rhino. So if the not getting the bundle price is a deal breaker than I get it. Otherwise they are still available

Yes, if you scroll down, you’ll see everything for sale except Black Sabbath. And since these titles have only been on sale for about 2 1/2 weeks, more “Paranoid” stock should hopefully be available at some point.

I've had the same - Paranoid arrived unannounced and with no import bill (yet). Only downside is the bottom of the Jewel case has cracked and broken off, so the paper inlay is flapping in the wind. Sure i can find a spare somewhere. Hand of Doom currently blasting out...

It is possible the bundle has been yanked so they can try to correct their shipping challenges.
I got all 4, 2 shipments, 2 cases with broken out corners. I think I will let them catch up a bit before I decide if I care about the cases.
