oh gosh Mister P... are there any WEA Quads that changed the running order? we all know some of the infamous instances of labels like CBS & Capitol cheekily rejigging tracklists for the time constraints of the 2 programmes on Q8 tapes but i don't know about Warners etc.?

I hope not, too much vocal reverb on that one IMO

that's my favourite bit!! certain mixes destined for CD-4 in particular were purposely done reverby because it could handle it so much better than SQ.
whereas reverb had to emanate from the same place as the original sound with the SQ system, with CD-4 on the other hand (and discrete tape, of course) reverb could come from wherever the heck you wanted! whether you liked it or not!

QQ members, git our your wallets and Black American Express graphite charge cards [LOL] and support RHINO's efforts and perhaps if they sell out, Rhino will release more QUAD BD~As from their rich and varied catalog on a more regular basis [like D~V]!

Those analogue tape~based QUAD masters are NOW 50 years old and in desperate need of a digital reissue and maybe NOW RHINO will realize the true GOLD they have in them there hills!
