BTW, Pupster, those Charles Gerhardt Film Score recordings are simply MAGNIFICO! Back in the day they ALL received rave reviews from all those high end rags and to hear them in 2019 in such sumptuous and DISCRETE sonics is a rare treat.

IMO, Mike, they're among the Crown Jewels of D~V's QUAD Output. Had a few on dolby b encoded QR and while they sounded wonderful, NO comparison to D~Vs mastering from those original 15 ips master tapes!

This new Guess Who disk is probably the best release so far. I hope it signals that more rock titles are on the way.

You are right, someone paid attention to the quad releases of Charlie, they sound great. These should be wonderful!

Still don't know when Michael Dutton has the time to master all these new releases........seeing he's basically a one man show!

No, it took fricken' forever to get the past batch in and announced (remember). This is just a slight catch up from being so far behind in May and June.
But they are great titles, and that is the main thing here. And if they are doing more Guess Who, I take that their quad SACD "Road Food" / "#10" two-fer must have done well enough to do more. Charlie Rich must have done alright, right? I mean unless the order for these new ones was placed before they had the earlier titles out.

Actually the Share the Land/American Woman had to already be in manufacturing when the Best of Vol. 2 came out in order for it to be available so soon. Still, it's a great set of titles for sure.

"Share the Land" is one of my favorite albums, and a mainstay of my freshman year college dorm playlist. (And that was only stereo)
