Something In The Dirt (2022) BD:

1. Pretty constant and discrete DTS-MA 5.1 surround mix with some wall-rattling lows.

2. Dialogue is a little low but it's not a mumbling actor problem - you can fix it by upping your centre channel a bit.

3. Another Moorhead and Benson flick that'll get multiple viewings round here I'm guessing.

4. I got this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Something-...sprefix=something+in+the+dirt+,dvd,413&sr=1-1

I rather enjoyed the movie. As I said earlier, it has everything that is good about early Guy Ritchie flicks.
Anyone recognize the service cart girl as Kimiko from The Boys?

Wow, and furthermore, WOW!
yes, a bit too long and violent but gorgeous eye candy with a yummy ATMOS mix...
Saw this today at a Dolby Cinema (what's the frame rate of this anyway?) in 3D...the most expensive ticket I have bought so far but it was worth it!

It was shot at a frame rate of 48 fps, Kap! I'm sure the 3D effect was breathtaking. Part 3 is coming out in 2024!

AVATAR: The Way of Water's budget was $250M which is probably why the ticket price was so high

Thank you for the info...the first thing I noticed was the frame rate and the higher definition, colors were brighter and the 3D effect (this is the first time I see a 3D movie in a Dolby theater) was way more advanced than normal...
And, of course, instead of being a ONE paltry speaker every 20 feet in the side walls , it was an ARRAY of at least 12 speakers in vertical arrangemant, so , it could NOT have been louder!

TRUE Dolby ATMOS for theaters consists of 56+ speakers ......... so I'd say the 4 overheads in most 'home theaters' is UNDERKILL!

Even the first Avatar in 3D was visually BREATHTAKING...don't know if I could last 3 hours in a theater though!
