Extra! Extra!

Here is at long last, the first version of the mk-II user manual!

You can download it right here:

Good reading!
I found an error in the manual.

You say a 180 degree signal time difference shows a circular Lissajous oscilloscope display.

Actually, it is a 90 degree time difference that produces a circle. I used a Lissajous display to calibrate my passive SQ decoder for the 90 degree phase shifts. A perfect circle is 90 degrees - the phase difference needed for back SQ decoding.

A 180 degree time difference is the same as running the signal through an analog inverter.

I use a rotated Lissajous display to see phono stylus motion.

You are right!
I have made the corrections and updated the download links above.

Thanks.

I suggest you wait a little before printing the manuals as they still have few small errors in them.
I'm updating it on a daily basis.
I'll let you know when the final version will be ready.
I also made a version of the manual in french.

:SB

Hi all!
I've been working hard lately to built the last cabinets for my own units and the ones i had left to assemble.
Final sanding and dye is the next step.
I have the final manuals ready. I will delete the previous versions from my dropbox page.
I added another page in the end and fixed some errors or typos.

It's fun to watch in full wave mode. At some points, it looks like it have 2 eyes and a mouth!
I'm happy you got your 2 units safe and sound.
Thanks for the video.

I've read about your device from the beginning of this thread & have to say I'm intrigued!

Are you selling these to QQ members and can I order one? You can PM me or I can you for details if you'd like. I watched several YT's and it's a fascinating visual enhancement for multichannel music :) Definitely more interesting than 4 VU meters on my Sansui or the LEDs on the Audionics S&IC.

Way to go on developing this!

Edit - from what I gather the MKII does 8.1. Correct? Is that the most advanced unit or is the MKIII the most advanced? Do you have a MK II or III available to sell?

Hi, the mk-II is the most advanced. You can look at the main differences between the mk-II and mk-III, in the manuals.
The links are available 5 post above.
Both do 8.1 channels but only the mk-II have discrete display for ch 5 to 8. The mk-III display ch 5 to 8 matrix-mixed with the main ch 1 to 4.
I have 1 mk-II and 4 mk-III for sale with a limited choice of LED colour schemes.
Contact me in a private message for more details.
