Marantz 4100 Quadradial on its trail run to see what happens. I changed a few fuse lamps which was easy and the usual cleaning of the controls and visual inspection. It was well taken care of not much dust inside.

MY sons both think I'm nutso. Well, I must agree. It's either media or new equipment, but it always gets better when you spend. Money? It's filthy. The germs and drug residue is all over it. I'll bet Obama himself has a 20 spot with coke on it! So, I have made it my solem duty to rid myself of the evil shit! (lost my mind, and cannot find it!) TG I don't have a lot, or I would be like QL and have about a million peppers invested in music and equipment. You know she has all the money!

Yeah, from a tech type person, that Marantz is just as beautiful inside as outside. It's darn near Heathkit-like in it's neat arrangement of boards and wiring (assuming the Heathkit was assembled carefully ).

Yes, money is only a conduit to things that really matter.

Speaking of Heathkits, in a few minutes, I will be swapping out two of my AA-29s (back channels) for my AA-2010 quad amp because one of them is making unwanted noises. Bummer.

Oh well, I guess it keeps using vintage equipment interesting.

No, leevitalone, I don't have all the money. I've spent way too much on a/v systems, software, new home, convertibles, trips, dinners, clothes, salons and SHOES to have much left.

Some more images of the bottom, full frontal and close up of the 4100. It has a nice presence. It will be a pleasure to photograph the 4100 with some mood lighting.

Its good to have reference photos of the equipment in case you forgot where something goes in reassembly.

She meant the FRONT U-clips, not for the rears (which are there in the photo posted). Your deck is missing 2 'U-clips' (it's supposed to have four).
