Nice choice Ralphie ! - That James Cd ? Sheesh - can the album cover be any more tacky ? Wonder what the story is with that !

SEX SELLS, Ricky, and for 25 cents you got a cheap thrill peep show! I'm now listening to the 26 Stereo DVD~A~Rs [192/24] I just received from HDTT [High Definition Tape Transfers] in Canada. As they are NO longer replicating in the DVD~A format, I figured I might as well order them .... and no surprise, as a lot of them are from 15ips Tapes and most are DSD remastered, they sound awesome. Amazing performances from the likes of John Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald, Bill Evans, Lee Konitz, Clark Terry, et alia, right up my tin pan alley!

Bocephus King - Willie Dixon God Damn!

His most produced album, lots more instruments than normal, all kinds of cool percussion and other sounds. As usual some great songs.
Held back though by a couple of things:
Sound is veiled with bloated indistinct bass.
And at 68+ minutes the album is too long.
But I’m still a fan and will buy everything he releases.

Ian Thomas - Little Dreams

When Ian wrote/recorded this he was about the same age I am now.
So all the songs about life, time, wisdom, experience resonate really deeply.
He’s one of Canada’s great treasures IMHO.

Messenjah - Rock & Sway

Really nice soft reggae album from this Ontario band. Can’t believe this disc is 32 years old,
Best known for the song “Jam Session” from their one album on Warner Brothers (this isn’t it).
