Has there been a release date given for the bookset of this one, or is it still just sometime in 2023?
From my past work at this time I'm guessing April. The size could lead to more time needed. More listening here than usual is planned. (At this time waiting more than usual too) ...and then there is more... 🤯

No hints given lol

Blew off the dust and finally opened this gem after nearly 9 years on the shelf:

Nice presentation and the book is beautiful with super glossy pages, very deluxe.

Wonderwall Music

Oddly, the only album in this set I’ve heard before in its entirety; I have the original Apple CD,
Yes, it’s kind of strange but in an endearing way.

Electronic Sound

Now this is weird. The title is apt, it’s sounds, no attempt at melodies that I can discern. Won’t get played again lol.

George Harrison - All Things Must Pass

Embarrassed to admit that, other than the singles and If Not For You, this is first time I’ve heard ATMP.
And I see what the fuss is about, this is a great album, especially impressed by sides 3 & 4.
Even like most of the Apple Jams.

Don’t know where this 2014 mastering rates vs all the others. The production is what it is.
A few tracks, most noticeably Let It Down, sound pretty rough but overall most of it is fine.

George Harrison -
Living In The Material World

Really nice album, first word that comes to mind is warm, in both content and sound. The latter verging on murky though not in a bad way, it contributes to the feel of the record.

George Harrison - Dark Horse

Interesting album, a bit erratic IMO, but some good songs especially the title track. Not quite as murky as LITMW but still leaning in that direction.

White Willow. Sacrament
A Norwegian group veers from folk to progrock style
Flute is played.....
Female singer has a nice voice.
Warning on back of cd case: the extreme dynamic range will test the limits of your sound system. Please listen with extreme caution.
Ha!

I had a warning like that on the first classical CD I bought after buying a CD player.

It was Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra’s Ein Staussfest. It had a number of explosions and gun shots.

In fact, the first song was Explosions-Polka, Op. 43. Between the song title and warning on the CD tray, you couldn’t claim they didn’t warn you.

George Harrison - Extra Texture

Other than the exuberant You and a couple of other songs, I found the material here weak and lacklustre sound.
Not a terrible album but certainly nowhere near his best.
