I didn't go to this show, but I saw them during that same tour at a college in upstate NY. Amazing evening! My buddies and I somehow wound up backstage afterwords when someone from the stage crew asked around if anyone had a cigarette for Paul Simon. We were ushered in and I got both of them to sign the back of an EvaTone Soundsheet I got from HitParader or some such mag. Of course it is long gone, but the memory lingers.
It was the second 'rock concert' I had ever attended. The first was The Dave Clark 5 (in a start-to-finish 35 minute!) "under the stars" show on a high school football field...go figure. LOL
.... hey Santa, pass us that bottle ........Jethro Tull - Another Christmas Song (UK single)
The Sub Pop record label has a store in Seattle’s Sea-Tac Airport which is cool.Imagine my surprise when I discovered a record store in the subway! Times Square, of course.
