I have to say that I've not followed her that closely these last several years, but I would love to hear some Atmos tracks from the SA&W good old days.
i love all her 80's & 90's stuff but for me her early 2000's records would translate best to Atmos, the Light Years & Fever albums in particular are practically made for Surround! 🥳

I have another single out today. This is the fourth one now. Next one will be at the end of September, and I’m releasing a quadraphonic ambient album on the 27th October: “Je me Souviens”

Thanks all for checking what I do. I don’t have a big label behind me, so what gets me going is all these personal relations.

Bit of a missed opportunity I feel, was hoping for more. The previous mixes by Dustin Richardson of Last Dance and Bad Girls are excellent - a lot more discrete. Not sure why they've been remixed or they didn't carry on with him for the new songs. Was clearly the template of how good they could sound...

FYI on Tidal there are 2 Dustin Richardson Atmos mixes of Last Dance with track times of 4:57 and 3:19 respectively. Presumably the same mix, just edited.

I think those are both the new mixes by Ken Lewis? They're not terrible mixes, perhaps I came across as a little harsh earlier, but I felt compared to the earlier mixes by Dustin Richardson, they weren't quite as good? I think this is the earlier 'Last Dance' mix on Tidal... https://listen.tidal.com/album/135311105

Not sure which one you'll get with Apple?

Hopefully someday the 'Bad Girls' album will be completed? And you never know, maybe Steven Wilson could be involved with 'Love To Love You Baby'? He sighted the title track as one of his favourite tracks...

Is this a different mix for Amazon? I can’t find this specific release of the song and the one on Amazon is … fine? Some discreet orchestral parts but not as mind blowing as some are suggesting here.
In the Apple version the backing vocals are very heavy in the rears.

Love el Cigala. The album is so-so but the mix is nice. The last two tracks really shine, with lots of percussions overhead.

His live DVD with Bebo Valdez (Lágrimas negras) is one of my go-to discs when trying new speakers. Even in compressed YouTube format it still sounds so lush to my ears.

Only few tracks were originally in Atmos but now full album is on.
Quiet a fun one to listen to. When compared it with [The Greatest Showman] motion picture soundtrack, Greatest showman sounds like a movie theatre mix while &Juliet being more in studio mix. More focused and less spread. (just my thoughts)

I especially liked 'Roar', guitar coming in from the sides at 1:40 gives quiet a chill (I purposely tuned my sides and surrounds to be a little hotter), dialogue coming in from the heights at 2:17 surprised me and made me visualize (although I have not seen the Broadway show of this one) actor singing from the balcony or some sort.

No mixers available for both albums, I am going to take a guess that since Greg Wells did the stereo for Greatest Showman and knowing he also does Atmos, it would have been him. as for & Juliet, Serban Ghenea did stereo mix for one track and I know his partner John Hanes does Atmos for Serban's mixes so It would have been John who did the entire album. Could also have been Michael Ilbert who did the stereo mix. There are albums that Michael Ilbert worked on stereo that John Hanes took over for Atmos such as Coldplay so I would weight more on John Hanes. No exact info available.

If you have any other broadway style music in Atmos that you like, please do share!!
