there are a fair few unique titles, including previously unreleased Quads (possibly worthy of its own thread?) including..

- Jose Feliciano "Compartments", "Feliciano!",
- Harry Belafonte "Live At Carnegie Hall" & "Play Me",
- Johnny Mathis "Love Story", "Me & Mrs Jones", "You've Got A Friend", "Song Sung Blue", "I'm Coming Home", "When Will I See You Again",
- Waylon Jennings "Ladies Love Outlaws",
- Dolly Parton "Bubbling Over",
- Dolly & Porter Wagoner (can't remember the titles, sorry!),
- John Denver "Poems, Prayers & Promises",
- Mahavishnu Orchestra "Between Nothingness And Eternity",
- Harry Nilsson "Nilsson Schmilsson", "Duit On Mon Dei",
- Ray Price "For The Good Times",
- Janis Joplin "Pearl",
- Simon & Garfunkel "Bridge Over Troubled Water",
- Paul Simon "Paul Simon", "There Goes Rhymin' Simon",
- Redbone "Message From A Drum", "Beaded Dreams Through Turquoise Eyes",
- Santana "Borboletta", "Festival",
- Bruce, West & Laing "Why Dontcha",
- Buddy Rich "A Different Drummer",
- Herbie Hancock "Secrets"..
I know there are Billy Joels as well. Piano Man and Turnstiles. They are pretty good too. As are the Simon quads.

David Bowie titles in 360RA are essential to me (Black star, The Next Day, etc.). It's a pity they will disappear without many people having listened to them.
It's a shame, but they are disappearing precisely because very few are really getting any benefit from them. And in contrast, 360RA is blocking legitimate Atmos releases on the platform which are otherwise available on Apple Music.

For the above recordings; higher 360RA bit rate was on Deezer (both).

> Mahavishnu Orchestra "Between Nothingness And Eternity",

I have never found the above anywhere but Tidal :-/

> Simon & Garfunkel "Bridge Over Troubled Water",
> Paul Simon "Paul Simon"

These exist (or did exist?) on Amazon in 360RA.

> Ray Price "For The Good Times",
> Bruce, West & Laing "Why Dontcha",
> Buddy Rich "A Different Drummer",

Investigating... all appear on Amazon in 360RA at a higher bit rate.

We live in a digital world... does anything truly disappear? :)

Also additionally I don't think these quads ever made it to 🍏...

Jefferson Airplane - Volunteers
Blood, Sweat & Tears - New Blood
Sly & The Family Stone - Small Talk
Poco - Deliverin’
Friends Of Distinction - Love Can Make It Easier
Edgar Winter - Jasmine Nightdreams
Dave Mason - Split Coconut
Dave Mason - Dave Mason
Dave Mason - It’s Like You Never Left
Nina Simone - Best Of Nina Simone (available on US Apple, not worldwide?)
Tammy Wynette - Tammy’s Greatest Hits
Phoebe Snow - Second Childhood

How do you get the bitrate? Does it show up on your receiver? Thanks.
There are 3 levels for streaming MPEG-H (360RA) - L1 at 667 kbps, L2 at 1200 kbps, L3 at 1600 kbps. Tidal chose the lower L1 level whereas Amazon and formally Deezer have/had L3. I think with the quads they are encoded at L2 though, and on Apple they'd most likely be Dolby Digital+ at 640 kbps. The Atmos tracks have a bitrate of 768kbps so quite a bit lower than L3.

It should show up on your AVR if you can access that information... I've only ever seen that info option show on my Blu Ray player though.

great detective work! 🙏😻
Redbone's "Message From A Drum" is aka "The Witch Queen of New Orleans", yes 👍

great finds, thank you!! 😻💘🤗

in the case of a few of those, some were never released in discrete Quad only on SQ matrix vinyl (i.e. Dave Mason "Split Coconut", Phoebe Snow "Second Childhood") and some were never released in Quad at all..!! (e.g. Blood, Sweat & Tears "New Blood")

FYI only; thank you all for the lists!

The above were on Deezer 360RA in higher bit rate.

>Nina Simone - Best Of Nina Simone (available on US Apple, not worldwide?)

There was a version on Deezer in 360RA higher bit rate than Tidal; a completely different track listing to the Amazon Atmos one of the same title. It would do my head in to compare with US Apple lol

>Friends Of Distinction - Love Can Make It Easier
>Tammy Wynette - Tammy’s Greatest Hits
>Phoebe Snow - Second Childhood

I have not looked into these before; looks like all are on Amazon in 360RA though - likely at a higher bit rate.

Not quad, but dont forget the unreleased 5.1 of The Byrds Fifth Dimension!

The version I am listening to now from Tidal appears to be quad? Excellent mix by the way.
i'm not sure which files those are but they may be the cancelled/previously unreleased Thom Cadley mix that was technically destined to be a 5.1 SACD release but ultimately was more of a 4-channel affair due to a paucity of multitracks?

otoh, the 360RA/Dolby Audio of Byrdmaniax is the 70's 4-channel Quad at it's core 😋
