To my knowledge, 4 Way Street was never released in Quad.

Now thats funny Thanks. I see that thread now. I ordered a Decware preamp for my new toy this decware amp I have 20 or so hrs on the tubes The phono stage will arrive in a couple of weeks

Tubes may not be the most linear, but that warm sound is the best. I'm too lazy, poor, cheap, or all the above to faithfully replace or bake tubes, so I've stuck with solid state, although my amps have discrete components.

I've been there, MRI's aren't as much fun as even an MVI!

(I'm epileptic so had to go through all of that MRI scanning business about 10+ years ago, to try to get to the bottom of it all.. they found a piece of brain, possibly still functioning.. that's about it!)

Hey guys, just a quick one! as it always is with me...haha a bit of a joke there as i am new and trying to break the ice, i have got a home cinema system and i have just bought myself an Xbox as i played call of duty at a friends and i have been hooked ever since, so i now want some speakers that will make the whole experience complete! as I'm sure if there are any Xbox fans out there you can appreciate what i am talking about..budget is flexible really depends on the quality of the products really, i have been in to richer sounds a couple of times but I'm not convinced by the salesman there. i feel like he is just trying to score some commission, one of my friends advised me to get these surround sound speakers, but he has more money than sense so i just wanted to tap up some expertise before i go in head first!

Brilliant album. First few tracks sound amazing. And then we get to "Enjoy the Silence" (my favourite track) and it's an upmix.

I've never opened my SACD set so I've never heard the surround mix.

I can only assume that's why. One or two of the other tracks sound like they are too... It's quite noticeable because there are some very discrete elements on the proper 5.1 tracks.

Ah well. Still glad to have what we have!
