Pieces Of Dreams : Stanley Turrentine (CD-4)

ok, its an instrumental (and a 'bladdy gawjuss' one at that) but indulge me for a second while
gets me to-thinkin', what could've been the Jack Jones Quad release RCA planned in '72/'73?
(his output with RCA in the 70's is of significant interest to me, i grew up with him.. and i love an underdog you just know has pedigree qualities.. and these to me are unheralded albums of a fine interpreter of song at the top of his game.. maybe a man born in the wrong era?) well it must be "Jack Jones Sings Michel Legrand", of course! now if Vocalion could unearth that unreleased Quad... my tiny mind would be instantly blown!! 🤯

meantime Stanley T., Gene Paul, Ray Parker Jr., David T. Walker, Dean Parks and co are rockin' my room in super surround and for that i am immensely grateful 😍

Did not know about any RCA quad release that early for Mr.Jones , Freddumz , but...............fwiw , the folks at Reber and associates recorded a live quad of Jack Jones..........live in London I believe ......and around the same time as the Dolly Parton SQ video ( 83 ?).
Not certain if it ever saw the light of day but she was announced in Larry Clifton's Quadlings.

Live At The London Palladium saw release but was later, maybe an earlier show from the capital. wowzers get my trousers, i'd so love to hear anything by him in any kind of surround.. "the chairman of the board" rated him and that's good enough for me! (y)

...and straight from the Zip-Zip-Zip-Zip-Zip-Zip,
let's get hip!

...to some epic Tale Spinnin' 📖:SB

if you're just tuning into QQ-TV, here is the Weather Report =

it's mostly gonna be... a funky fusion-filled day! 🌅

one of those discs that just gets better and better the more you play it! hope i don't wear out the SACD like i nearly did my SQ LP! haha.. o_O 🤣

Poncho is In Sight every time I watch @edisonbaggins deliver a Life In Surround review, so I picked it up!

Mos Def Out Of Sight! This one needs a poll!

Guess I'll have to be the eccentric uncle who swears this is their best album ever from the 1990s- to the 2000s !!! Think about it if you were the mighty Pat M,....hmmmm, I am getting a 2nd chance to record a new track of drums on a King Crimson album which I originally played on...hmmm...whaddayasay???
....yes , we all would have jumped at that chance, Pat..btw, awesome rerecording!!!
