fans of The O'Jays "Ship Ahoy" SACD are going to go batty over this one, the mix pulls every trick in the book and never has that mix shone brighter than now.

Beach Boys Two fer
Sunflower and Surfs Up
Both completely brilliant.....imo
They are both multi channel as well, not stereo, as stated on Sunflower's Discogs info.
I bought the Surfs Up LP from Richard Branson's, fledgling, Virgin Records mail-order business, back in 1973.
Still got it.

They're actually double Stereo, IMO, Mike. They require a decoder* which is not readily available in any modern receivers, AFAIK! But they do sound awesome as remastered by Analogue Productions.

There's roughly four QQ threads dedicated to these two AP releases for a better grasp of how they were encoded....but NOT properly decoded for their respective multichannel SACD release by Analogue Productions.

Thanks for reminding me, I have to rip them in MCH, I only ripped them in stereo and I keep forgetting.
