Oh come on...somebody...somewhere...HAS to be listening to something! :music

I'm listening to Idlewild South and this puppy is jamming!...I won't need repeated listening sessions of this one to tell you.... that so far in the song list.... these songs have never sounded better..and edisonbaggins I'm talking to you...YOU NEED TO BUY THIS.. Kevin Reeves has my attention now with this superb job(y) I actually was just going to preview a song or two...but I can't stop listening...this mix really brings this music to life..

Simple Minds-Once Upon A Time...just taking a sneak peak at this one...I've listened to the first 4 songs and I like it...it's mildly discreet so far...but what I like is the sound is open and clean for an 80's production(1985) and that is a task in itself..it's not the bombastic "echo-rama" that is so typical of 80's material...half way thru the song list and I think Bob Clearmountain has done a nice job...it's not Steven Wilson territory...but to be candid not many reach that level...

Just for the record, Bob Clearmountain did not mix this album in surround. The surround mix is by Ronald Prent.
