Playing Queen's Greatest Hits 1 & 2 on DVD-V DTS 5.1 and I'm having a blast! Justin did a pretty good job with the mixes.

I'll echo all positive comments concerning the surround mix, fidelity, and content on the "What's New" SACD (and DVDA since it's the same).
The content is truly unique in comparison to all of the other Multichannel SACD titles released by Warner Japan and it deserves to be in all music and surround lovers' collections. :)

The Postman has just dropped this. First listen and I like it. I love Blood On The Tracks because the songs are stellar and the playing sublime but this one will grow on me with time. Both mixes have their merits.

The last couple of weeks has been David Bowie listening:
Reality Sacd
Heathen Sacd
Live dvda
Stages Dvda

great stuff, really liking reality and heathen and will get to the other Bowie 5.1's over next while.

as well listening to all the Talking Heads as after reading mr edisonbaggins getting the boxset made my brain go,yes, need to relisten to those albums, great 5.1 experience, has given me a way better appreciation of all the albums as before 5.1 I only liked 4 out of the 8 albums. In fact years ago I got rid of a couple of these albums on cd but in 5.1 they are keepers as hearing all the layers to the music recorded it just made sense to me now

The Talking Heads surrounds are way underrated..IMO..

Well, I have a music date with Mum tonight and we're doing Van Morrison, Jackson Browne and Elton John, but maybe later this weekend. It kinda feels like eating an elephant. Is there a particular album to start with?

Great question!
The best two to start with IMHO would probably be "Remain in Light" and "Speaking in Tongues". :)

Foreigner, Foreigner DVD-A 5.1. Awesome. I will just keep saying it DVD-A is my favorite format, maybe BD-A can get better with the whole content but man, are they slow to get better. SACD Single Layer second favorite. Hybrid SACD, well they are for listening in home and car but as an audiophile who has all the big machine parts, just give me the good stuff.
I do seem to be purchasing more 24bit downloads than last year, not sure why.

I haven't cracked in to the brick yet!!!

You can't go wrong with the other suggestions given as those are great albums by Talking Heads.
Myself, I would say start at the beginning as that way you will be able to hear how they evolve and change from album to album to me thats such a big listening reward although like you said it can be overwhelming sometimes when you have a bunch of new albums and where do you start.
At least this has been most fun for me when hearing new artists to me when getting a whack of albums from the same artist.
Even relistening in past couple of weeks went through it in order of how they came out.
