Is there a difference in sound quality dvd-a vs Blu Ray Audio? Have both, but only ripped the dvd-a cause it was easier

Love this album.

I really don't think there is. Yes, the Blu-Ray does have higher sampling rates (192kHz on the Blu-Ray as opposed to 96kHz on the DVDA) but I doubt any of us will here an audible difference between the two formats and sampling rates. And yes, it is a very 'loverly' album.

Since I just bought a ticket today for tomorrow night's performance of "Jethro Tull - the Rock Opera" by Ian Anderson at the Ryman Auditorium, I thought it would only be appropriate that I spin "Benefit" (and maybe some more Jethro Tull albums) in 5.1 surround while taking care of some laundry after work today.

Amen! There's so many great surround moments on "Songs from the Big Chair", but "Listen" has to be one of the best. (That and "The Working Hour" are probably the best moments for me.)

Not very discrete, if any, but I haven't minded one bit. This is a day-gum beautiful recording and composition. I LOVE string quartets and the sanger ain't too shabby neither.
Cain't understand a lick o' what she's sanging, but that's probably a good thing.

Lightest mastering of all time. You can literally turn it up to 0 db.

Very beautifully done. Glad I don't understand the lyrics.
