3 Doors Down - Away From the Sun - DTS DVD 5.1
I don't care if you hate this band, this disc is exquisitely recorded and mixed and worth owning, even if you only like a few tracks...

I can crank this MF up to -1db without ANY discomfort or distortion and it thunders like CRAZY. What a MF recording/mix!
Not the greatest band ever, but W/E, man. It's a great disc.

Listening to the HFPA Blu-Ray Audio disc of "Sea Change" by Beck right now. It's a perfect album for the emotional mood that I'm in right now.

Thanks, Snood. I guarantee you it's nothing serious. Just some emotional ups and downs over the past month or so.
Plus, I just really wanted to hear this album again, although the downside is, every time I play it, it makes me really want "Morning Phase" in surround, but unfortunately, that album just came out about 10 years too late for that. :(

Now I have moved on to the very dark and disturbing "Storm Corrosion" album, which is probably my favorite album of original music that Steven Wilson has ever produced under any one of his many collaborations. :)

RT, sounds like you need an uplifting LIFE PRESERVER. Just don't attempt to follow Storm Corrosion with Leonard Cohen's Songs of Love and Hate!

Seeing as how that album has never been released in surround, you don't need to worry about that… ;)
"Storm Corrosion" will probably be the last surround album I'll play tonight. It's getting late, and I don't want the neighbors complaining!

Audiens (SACD)

Nordic Voices
Schola Cantorum
Are Sandbakken (viola)
Tone Bianca Dahl (conductor)

With all of the previews and teases surrounding "Sanctuary II", I'm currently playing "Sanctuary (I)" right now, and I'm loving this album even more than I ever have before! (And I have always loved it ever since I heard it a year ago!) It truly is one of the biggest surround sound gems released in the last three years, and everyone needs to own it and enjoy it! :)

If YOU say so, RT.

Actually, I AM looking forward to Sanctuary II.
