I have that one too. Great disc! A great mix by Richard Chycki (regardless of his Rush albums mixes).
It's too bad this is mostly brick-walled, because, even still, it sounds pretty damn nice.

I really like the SACD mix of 461 Ocean. I wonder if it's the same 5.1 mix as the BD?
No it's not.
The Blu-ray Disc has the better 5.1 mix IMHO (by Elliot Scheiner).
The SACD has the Mick Guzauski 5.1 mix.

Thanks for the wonderful reminder from Ryan(rtbluray) I listened to this today and will be listening to it some more tomorrow as so much to digest in this great release. What a great surround title, so glad I got this:

Got off work late and had to do laundry. Went downstairs to my surround space and looked or something to play. I pulled out the dvda of John Hiatt Bring The Family. It had been a long time since I popped this disc in but it reminded me that I am not listening to enough John Hiatt. When I went to the shelf I was trying to decide between the dvda and the sacd. I chose the dvda because I wanted the lyrics on screen while I waited on the washing machine. It has been a long time, so are the dvda and sacd comparable sonically? I would guess the mix is exactly the same. This is one of the titles that I own both versions of but have never listened to back to back. I forgot how good of a band John had on this album with Ry Cooder on electric guitar, Nick Lowe on bass and Jim Keltner on drums. A very enjoyable time waiting for work clothes to be clean. I wish we had things like Dirty South, Stolen Moments & Perfectly Good Guitar also available to us in suuround.
