I am really loving the Super Deluxe of Steven Wilson's To The Bone! Great surround mix on the Blu Ray. I think I'm going to watch the documentary next!

Was leaning towards Talking Heads then for some strange reason went with Ayreon Actual Fantasy Revisited DD 5.1 48k: Guess I needed just a little, well i don't know, can I call it Progressive ElecroGothRock? I like it, surrounds well used, plenty of low end, good content, though drums are sometimes pushed into the distance. For me it's better with the display off, don't need the images and the on screen lyrics aren't really necessary because the vocals are clear.

King Crimson - Red

I compared the DVD-A to the BD and I find the DVD-A to be slightly warmer and the BD to be a tiny bit more accurate, on my system. I slightly prefer the warmth of the DVD-A. :smokin

God I k
now you are a record dude, you should buy Gov't Mule's Stoned Side Of The Mule, IT IS KILLER But only on record, no CD's. I refuse to call records vinyl, back in my day they where always called records, vinyl is a modern fucked up word.

OK, I will. I don't own any GM......but I've been curious. I'm on it...

Berlioz - Symphonie Fantastique SACD (Pentatone Remastered Classics)... This is so great!!! I'm not a classical music aficionado (my exposure has mainly been through movie soundtracks and Warner Bros cartoons:mad:@:), but this is an excellent disc... track 5 inspired Stanley Kubrick's theme for "The Shining"... discrete sound in the rear channels (NOT ambience)... recommended!

One of these days if I'm lucky. I've been thinking about picking up a lot of "classical" SACD's lately. My CD version is the 1989 Roger Norrington, The London Classical Players, should play it now but can't. Thanks for your thoughts on the disc, so much great music out there so little time.

Reminds of the line from The Graduate...

"I just want to say one word to you. Just one word. Are you listening?"

"Vinyl" :ugham:
