Played it also yesterday and the mixes are really well done. Too many missing tracks though. I wish they added Live And Let Die, Dear Friend, Wild Life and Getting Closer. I also agree with you that Ram in 5.1 is a dream I wish would come true. I'd also love it if AF would release Band On The Run on 5.1 SACD.

They would have only added tracks like the ones you mentioned if they had music videos for them. Now there were a bunch of McCartney videos that were not included in the collection, but I'm not sure if any of the ones you mentioned had music videos to begin with or not.

Getting Closer had a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G59EpuqmHs

Back to the Egg is my favorite Macca album, despite a couple tracks I'm not too fond of.

I do not know why this thing post all photos in assumption that they are landscape/horizontal.

Lionel Richie - Just for You (SACD)
Absolutely fine mix, just not on every track. Anyway, great stuff for my surround radio (nah, just kidding - I'm simply compiling a best of as I go, to minimize the time spent in front of my collection, wondering what to pick). The track #11pops up - I had to check credits if it's not a Michael Jackson tune!

Today has been "Doors Day"...I listened to 10 of the 11 songs on the new Doors Quad SACD and compared each one to the 5.1 SACD version...one at a time....it was almost complete domination by the Quad Mix:bounce17

Later today, I'll be doing the same thing. (with a little influence via guiness wobbly pops)

ps hope you got my reply to your pm, clint

Did you miss this part..."it was almost complete domination by the Quad Mix"...pretty much sums it up...

yes. I even read it wrong that you were comparing to the dvda and not the quad reels. Man I need some food:)

Finally enjoying the Sparkle In The Rain Blu-Ray I've just received from Universal. Man that's one powerful multichannel mix! The drummer has now become a god of thunder on this version. Lovin' it!

Was the stand alone Blu Ray messed up originally too? (I thought it was just the box set). If anyone knows, please let me know...
