Its a curious release.. I wonder at what stage the decision was made for Telarc to take it from limited promo status to fully-fledged retail..?

I just finished listening to this disc...what a fun disc!...30 songs from different artists..I only skipped 3 of these songs(not my style)...I love the concept of a "sampler" blu ray concert disc...this isn't an audiophile type of disc...mixed results on both the video and audio...but from a performance standpoint it is outstanding...and I must give Eagle credit...most compilation discs have the volume all over the place on each song...but I never had to touch the volume control once during the entire disc...the sound was controlled perfectly...like I said...this is a FUN disc...I grabbed this one on Ebay for under $14..

After watching the sampler disc I had to dust off one of the selections in that disc...I hadn't played this in over a year...it a worthwhile purchase HERE

Alice In Chains "Music Bank" Video Collection: Fantastic discrete surround mix of all their best songs... Unfortunately it's only in Dolby Digital and compressed, but I love it! Even cool panning effects (a fly buzzes around the room before one song). It's worthy of listening to without the video.

Queen - Greatest Video Hits Volumes 1 & 2 (2 volume set) - Wow... best $10 I ever spent; over 30 of Queen's best songs with some of the best surround mixes I've ever heard. If you've heard the surround mixes for The Game and ANATO and enjoyed them, you need to own this. I just discovered DVD audio extractor this week, so I've been ripping audio streams from all the DVDs in my video library... some great files for my external hard drive which I have connected to my OPPO. Highlights so far include the above mentioned as well as The McCartney Years, The Beatles Anthology, Yellow Submarine, Help, and Alice In Chains "Music Bank".

Finally! I'm loving this and I'll enjoy it as much as my AP SACDs, my DCC CD and my L.A. Woman DVD-A. I'm only missing the Strange Days SACD and my collection will be complete, until at least they decide to treat us to a Mono Set of the first two LPs and the singles that were released in Mono.
