I love blind buys in surround its great to find things you really like. There is a wide world of musical styles dont limit yourself to the familiar.

The Beatles "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" FLAC ripped from BD-A with Overall Levels adusted -5dB followed by Rears adjusted +3dB... sounds really nice

Sometimes the "Audacity dB Tweakers" do alright.

My Surround Master came in yesterday so I've spent the last four hours playing a bunch of QS encoded CDs. Here's the one I'm listening to at the moment. The music is dramatically charged but also immensely beautiful.

I've had a great afternoon, started with Jethro Tull - This Was then Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland.​

Then I put on The Beatles, I turned off the screen, kept the lights off as it was getting dark, just surrounded by a sea of led's and proceeded to have a near religious experience, marvelling in the sheer perfectness of it, I wanted to go outside and drag people in off the street so that they could share in my euphoria, I swear I could convert any disbeliever, by playing them this new mix in 5.1, sounded just amazing on my system, set up just right for it and at the perfect volume! I LOVE IT​

Oh and then there was the lightning outside during Revolution 9!

Well, that's unfortunate. Anyway, I'm going to get hold of a copy of the '04 Japan CD, run it through Neural:X, and see how it sounds...
