I'm lucky I paid my mortgage off a few years ago, but I need to do some expensive work as the drive and hardstanding need to be dug up and redone (think quagmire instead of a hardstanding after the rain, and think sinking car!), and I 'splashed out' on a Realiser A16. But I'm a PF fanatic so I'm in the will I won't I phase. There will be no hidden stuff, its a bit of a re-hash with better live in surround, mmm I just don't know  more musing required!

First off, I think it's really cool that we not only get 7 "Division Bell" Outtakes on CD 4, but those same 7 tracks also appear to have been mixed in 5.1 surround and included on the Blu-Ray! Too bad there's no outtakes from the "Momentary Lapse of Reason" recording sessions. I guess nothing else from those sessions was deemed worthy to included.

Next, a question. Is there any surround content on Blu-Rays 5 & 6? I'm sure some of the material on those Blu-Rays would work in surround sound.

Seeing the full track listing has certainly whet my appetite even more! Now I just need to figure out how to get the money to pay for it!

:)

So, surround-wise there's:

1) A Momentary Lapse of Reason (remixed, remastered, and possibly re-done drum sounds?)
2) Division Bell (same as before)
3) The Endless River (New video footage)

4) Delicate Sound of Thunder (remixed, remastered) If I'm not mistaken, this was captured on 35mm film, so it has the potential to look (and sound) amazing.

5) Pulse - Captured on video tape, so won't look much better than before, but may have lossless audio.

That's it as far as surround sound, right?

There's apparently 7 "Division Bell" outtakes that have also been newly mixed in surround.
Plus the Knebworth 1990 has also been mixed in 5.1 surround.

Not sure if there's anything besides "The Endless River" film on Blu-Rays 5 & 6 that have surround sound
