one friend bought a brand new 23 foot Formula speed boat. Killer boat. He put a big amp in there and 2 big JBL speakers om the rear deck or engine cover.

Actually, our minibus driver knew his way around the area and made a few stops around Clooney’s villa. That villa is very, very close to the street. So I can see why he wants more privacy.

If the Clooney villa asking price was $110 million, than the one that I took a photo of probably would go for much more.

Our bus driver has driven Clooney and his bodyguards from the airport to the villa. He said that George is a very nice, friendly and respectful man. (Catholic school will do that to you given that nuns and brothers were never hesitant to wack disrespectful kids…ask me how I know this. )

We had a tour of villa owned by the state. The guide explained that a 200 year old tree shaped like an umbrella was sculpted when it was young, and they have to trim it every year to maintain its shape. Maybe they use one of those JLG bucket thingies?

I toured the Frank Lloyd Wright house Fallingwater several years ago. It’s an amazing house, and came to define what wouls eventually be called mid-century modern. It’s worth looking up, and if you’re in the northeast US, it’s well worth the time for a visit.

But because it’s a bit of a time capsule, the entertainment center in the living room has an AM radio and a 78 rpm record player.

And to think I am old enough to remember when that’s what WE had. And a 17” black-and white TV.

So this is the story of Farmer Cal

Remember my dandelion forest out back of the property ? Well - **** - in less than 3 months it turned into Amazon jungle !! Four to 5 foot high crap
everywhere !!. The **** just grew and grew and grew ( side note - must plant some pot back there !!! ) Mrs Cbmmm3 said this needed to be addressed.
But how ? A mower aint gonna cut it

Farmer Cal was out in his field about 2 weeks ago - about a mile down the road - with a massive 2 ganger brush hog. I park my truck on side of road and go sprinting towards him. All quarter mile or so. Turns out he and I both have the gift of gab. we hit it off splendidly.

And the Amazon forest is gone - and at a respectable price - for a 3 plus acre mow job that only a hogger can tackle. And I have a new friend
