I stand by my comments in post #322. The songs with the most production/overdubs - the title track, "In This Place", and "Too Rolling Stoned" - offer the best surround moments, but even the simpler power trio sections do sound effectively 'bigger' in Atmos since the double-tracked guitars are in both the front and side speakers (as someone else noted upthread, these appear discretely in the wides on a 9.1.x setup). The core band kind of forms a U-shape arc extending from the fronts to the sides, with isolated elements occasionally emerging from the rears or heights in a non-distracting (to me) way.

Plus, the tonality of the Atmos mix is pretty nice to my ears - which is hardly a guarantee with new surround releases.

I waited to order until June 12.
By that time it had gone out of stock at Amazon & importcds waiting for the second pressing.

Just got notice it's in the mail, apparently outsourced from importcds.
Price seems to be stable $42-44 range.

Been a long time crossing... Atlantic Ocean...🌉🌊🇮🇴🌐

I am I think in the minority here, but I think they butchered the opening song, which sets the tone of what’s to follow. I found some of the new mixes great, but for me it was hard to get that first disappointing song, which sounds very different from the original (and IMHO) and worse, not better. I’d much rather listen to the stereo version of Day Of The Eagle!

It does get better after Eagle for sure.
