I saw his name in the liner notes for "Hot Rats", I think he played bass on one of the tracks?

This is a compilation. I think I like the material from his 2nd album the most, might look for it. Great guitar playing.

Yes!! I finally found my copy of this album. About to clean the 3x LP's & will give them spin later on.

With the recent talk of that massive ( 17 disc? ) set from the same tour I'm looking forward to listening to this. It's been lost, buried in my unsorted LP no-mans land.

It was released in 1973 when quad was kind of peaking.

The album was on Atlantic Records which had Q4, Q8 and CD-4 releases as part of WEA.

I guess maybe because it didn't exactly make a splash when it was first released? I think I read that She's Gone didn't become a hit until 1976.

Posted this in the wrong thread earlier. Picked this up for a buck. I pulled it out and realized why. But after a good cleaning it plays pretty well.
