If it doesn’t have a standalone blu ray I wont be popping for it, I never liked the future bites and if it sounds anything like it it’s a no from me, by the way I love C/C even though it cost me £55 for the special edition
I tend to agree with you on Future Bites and would wait till I've heard it before dropping the big bucks. The good news may be that Steven doesn't like to do the same thing each time, there's a high probability this next one will sound completely different.

I agree, I think it’s going to be a solid release. I also think Steven has a growing subconscious need to please and sell his music, as he gets older, but more importantly he is knee deep in atmos tech, so this should be a very interesting recording project. I’m looking forward to it! One less that interesting release out of a career like his is easily acceptable!

I'll be buying it the moment I hear of the announcement. I liked The Future Bites, just not as much as some of his other releases. It's like so many other new albums, I enjoy it when I listen to it, but there is nothing driving me back to it. That call to listen to any new release, happens less and less these days. Versions of the Truth is the last time I remember it happening, and it was my introduction to The Pineapple Thief.

I've had it in near-constant rotation since I was asked to test the surround mixes in late January. I think it's phenomenal, easily his best-sounding album with some of the most elaborate production to date. It really does sound like it was 'recorded in Atmos'.
What about the music? the other important aspect.

I completely agree with you on this! He plays a big game of “F” the music establishment, but he wants to sell millions and play stadiums, he’s accomplished one of those this far! I am totally confident this release will be great!
