I had the original LP back in England, bought the remastered 2009. And have to say I have never ever heard anything like this. Will post a full review Tomorrow.
Bass is exceptional Drums are great Atmos direction for instruments incredible.

First report of positives for the Atmos mix! @edisonbaggins is going to lose his mind waiting for his copy to arrive! Too bad we can’t all have a group listen at @HomerJAU ‘s place!

One of our AU TV channels is doing a ‘Beatles Week’ leading up to this release with an live interview with Giles on Friday (AU morning).

Two facts mentioned: Abbey Road was the first Beatles album recorded on 8 track and first to be mixed in stereo before being mixed in mono.
