I see both the Bills & Chiefs are 4>1 & top of their respective conferences. So not sure how you call KC Chiefs at #3??Rampaging eh??? I've been a lifelong Bills fan. I lived through the Kelly Years and the four SB losses and all, ..but this kind of press is very rare for us.
If the Bills rank #1 , why is it that this Bills fan and many, many, like me get so nervous and unsettled when we have to play the "lowly" #3 ranked Chiefs in Arrowhead (is it still called Arrowhead?). in a game that likely will determine home field advantage between these teams. But I gotta say, this team looks like its taking no prisoners this season, and they just might take it all. Its just weird having a lot of national people thinking that way too.
I sat through years of domination by New England. Kelsay is just the new Gronk....
But I know the feeling you're talking about and I was the same way last night, nervous about the Chiefs playing "lowly" LV Raiders. I guess I had reason to be.
But KC fans are naturally skittish about this so many decades of medium to poor performance both NFL & MLB. The city wide attitude at one time is the only difference between the Royals & Chiefs was the latter didn't take near so many games to ultimately disappoint.
It is now called GEHA Stadium but Arrowhead Field. I don't like it but GEHA (an insurance company) I'm sure paid big $$$ to tack on their name. Now ya only do that if it's a consistent winning team.
Edit: OK now I see it was the op/ed piece by Dan Hanzus placing the Chiefs in the 3rd spot.
