It's always interesting to see the KC Chiefs bounce back from a double digit deficit & win the game. Whew! It would have been demoralizing to both the team & fans for back to back losses. I found this rather interesting on SF Gate:

Bouncing around between different games all afternoon before the featured attraction, it has turned into a football blur today. There was one game towards the end that was amazing because the players kept passing the ball to each other as they moved down the field. I have never seen anything like that before. Well, of course rugby. Does anyone know the team/game I am referring to?

That was the Green Bay - Washington game. That play rarely works (I don't think I've ever seen it work on a game I watched) and usually ends up looking pretty silly when it finally breaks down. Even less probable than a Hail Mary.

Yesterday was a bonanza of sports for me to watch. Football, Baseball, Hockey, NASCAR and F1.. I was keeping tabs on all of it.

Niners: Well it was my 67th birthday yesterday 10/23, went to game, I am a season ticket holder, drank too much, but didn't drive.
They come out of the gate, like they always do and score, first 3 plays, 3,7, 3, and KC in the end, just too much, loved watching McCaffrey.
So disgusted I left middle of 4th quarter, I never do that.
Next week we play at Rams. We are 2-0 against our division opponents, have not yet played Cardinals, Niners are hanging by a thread at moment. Lots of pissed off Niner fans, Management, between Trey Lance and McCaffery have given all our draft picks away, going to be a long next couple years unless magic happens.
But I only have one Red and Gold team, so I am in for the long haul.

Most importantly, Happy Birthday my man! 67 huh? Dammit...and you're still working your ass off. I commend you on that.

Happy Birthday whipper snapper! Hope ya kill the Rams!

Didn’t you mean to say that you’re 39?

I love it.... There is a certain demented satisfaction for Bills Mafia when they see the Pats fail so badly. And on top of it, Brady himself doing so badly.

This is better than the undefeated regular season the Pats had ... only to lose the SB.

So with the NFL Trade deadline looming, I remembered this little ditty. Its dated, but it always makes me laugh. Back in the days when Ralph Wilson owned the team and was still alive.

That was great!
I Remember what Boomer of ESPN used to always say about the Bills.. "Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills." They're not circling the wagons anymore!
It could get ugly quickly this week against GB. I Just hope they'll 'call off the hounds' when its 40-0 @ half time😥.

I'm still waiting for my 72 Dolphins to crack open the champagne bottles and light the cigars once again this season!
I wonder how many of them are still around? I know that Bob Griese is still around. Nick Buoniconti passed a few years back. :(

They were absolutely thrilled when the Giants beat the undefeated Pats...and so was I routing for one of the home teams.

Its hard to hang 40 points in a half on anyone these days. The Pack is playing for pride now. I hope they don't take them lightly.

But it's Halloween Eve! Sunday Night Football in Buffalo. The crowd should be quite entertaining to say the least. And loud as hell.

The night before Halloween in Buffalo is traditionally the 1st of 2 nights of trick or treat. They call it Beggar's Night.

Here is an absolute deep dive into the undefeated Miami season.

1972 Miami Dolphins: The inside story of the only perfect season in NFL history

I like the parts about the near misses. It is still an amazing accomplishment 50 years later.

Think of all this from a Bills Mafia perspective. During the 70's, Miami dominated the Bills. and every other team in the division. Buffalo hated Shula and all the Miami players, many of which eventually entered the HOF. After the 90's ended we were dominated by the Pats. Buffalo hated the Hoodie and they absolutely despise Brady to this day. That has a lot to do with Brady taking swipes at the town and dissing Buffalo players, the alleged cheating.... need I go on...

In between there the Bills had the Jim Kelly run where they dominated. There were some awesome Bills-Dolphins games during that period. Jim Kelly and Dan Marino both deserved rings but neither got one. They are both in the HOF though.

And AR... the proper title in Buffalo-ese for the Giants and the Jets is "The New Jersey teams". Only one team plays in New York State.

You don't have to be a Bills fan to feel that way about the Belichick/Brady Patriots era. I think most everyone that isn't a fan hates them. It is so rewarding to see them both struggling this year.
