@Sonik Wiz is not happy, but it was another heck of a game.

I didn’t have a dog in that fight but it definitely lived up to the hype. Best game I’ve seen all season.

Jets are for real. I thought that going into the GB game, this just reinforces it.
There's this local tv station that has this football contest I take part in, where you pick the winners of each NFL game, straight up, no point spread. I initially picked the Jets, then changed to GB when I heard they were recently 10-0 the week after a loss.
So much for stats... Well, I was wrong & should have gone with my first thoughts on the game. Dumb me..
Congrats Jets fans, you deserved the win! You have a heck of a defense there.

I am surprised by the Jets. They are playing with emotion - and having fun. They are the NFL over achievers so far ( along with that other NY team and Philly )
And BTW - the Lions looked absolutely incredible this week !

I get worried every time he takes off. Its the occasional hurdle that makes it all the more worrisome.

The Giants are beginning to look like an actual football team again…I may have to start blocking out 4 hours of my Sundays for the first time in 4 or 5 years…

@Sonik Wiz is not happy, but it was another heck of a game.

I watched the 1st couple of plays at home then it was out the door. For a bit over an hour I enjoyed some spectacular live jazz & then noshed the extensive buffet afterwards. At this point I checked my phone every now & then. It looked hopeful. It looked like maybe OT. And then in about the last minute it was WTH?! How did Buffalo get the ball?

And so it goes. At least it wasn't some crazy lop sided loss like the last Chiefs last Super Bowl was. There's been some great team building on the Bills. They are a real force this season.

Probably better I was away from home instead of throwing beer cans & yelling at my TV.

Ugh, Niners, what happened. Gave the Falcons the win, but on the other hand give the Falcons there credit for coming out of the box very prepared.
Niners (3-3) are still #1 in the NFC West because we beat LA (3-3) and Seattle, (3-3) have not played Cardinals (2-4) yet.
Was rooting for the Cowboys last night but that ship sailed fast.
Buffalo looked awesome and my favorite AFC team.

Buffalo definitely is the AFC top seed on paper. As long as Allen doesn't make trying to jump 6 feet in the air over another player a habit. If you are a fan, I know you have to hold your breath every time he does something like that.
I know because I do whenever Lamar goes bonsai.

Yeah, I gasped. If Allen keeps trying to run hurtles instead of playing QB, eventually one of those hurtles will thrust hard upwards and Josh will land on his head or another body part. Hurtling is not a formula for a long NFL QB career!!! I'm a Jet fan but I don't want to see any of these youngsters get hurt. Now, if they put Putin in a Bills uniform...well that's a different story.

I had season tix for a few years back in the Chuck Knox era (late 70's early 80's). There were 2 guys from Hamilton that had season tix that sat behind us. For the two of them, they bought 3 seats. The middle seat was for the 1/4 keg of Labatts they brought to every game. And yes.... you could legally do that then.
