According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Lions are +145 to win the NFC North. The Packers aren’t far behind at +230. The Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears, both of whom have quarterback questions, are further back at +420 and +440, respectively.

What always bothers me about up and coming teams is that the chance of crashing the next year is about the same as the chance of getting better.

An example is the 1991 Lions who went 12-4 but then 5-11 the next season. :(

The Lions and Jets have had major declines after 10 win seasons several times. Now crashing from a 10 win season is more likely than crashing from a 12 win season; but it has happened.

Oh Ricky, you have got to be lovin' this! 😂
My opinion,; Lions should be favored, they are a better team... but you never know what could happen.
Say Goff goes down or some other key player? Thank you very much! GB will be there to regain the NFC North top spot!
NOT REALLY! The Packers, last year, may well have just been a fluke. A good friend of mine already has them in the SB next year.
...that's fantasy world stuff to me! But fun to talk about!
Oh Bobby. There you go again. Soft shoeing and down playing your team. :) . Did you forget about the Thanksgiving Day massacre at Ford Field ?
Did you forget about being so damn close to beating the MarkieNiners at Candlesti---err Wrangl....err Levis Stadium ?
The Pack is back. They scare me. They scare the Lions. Dont downplay them. They are that good

Now get yourself a plate of Green and Gold curds and get on the Hallucinogen train with me. All Aboard ?

Russell Wilson released by the Broncos.. On the surface this looks really stupid.
Not sure what they're thinking. 85 million against salary cap.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...-tried-failed-russell-wilson-quarterback-next

Definite dead salary cap hit disaster though in eating $39 million in real salary this year, they do save the $37 million in guaranteed real money Wilson would have been owed in 2025.

Probably also just an admission that the situation between Wilson and Sean Payton was irreparable, and so time to move on in a vote of confidence for the coach, but a debacle for the front office with the historic dead cap hit plus the trade cost of (2) 1st round picks, (2) 2nd round picks, (1) 4th round pick, and (3) roster players (TE, DL, QB).

Yep, you pretty much hit on all the key points there. These contracts that teams back load are crazy! Wasted money! This one will go down as one of the worst trades in NFL history, bar none!
Seattle has got to still be laughing at the Broncos!
On a side note: what gets me is that GB could probably have gotten this much, or close to it, by moving Rodgers a year earlier😒

Denver makes sense. Bills just re-signed Mitch Tribisky the backup QB
