Probably no one has noticed yet, but today this message from Paul appeared on twitter:
I didn't make a big point of it when we announced it, but the (now sold out) SDE-exclusive blu-ray of #DuranDuran's 'Danse Macabre De Luxe' is actually the first release on our own label: SDE Records! It's out today! We are planning more releases for 2025. Thanks for your support

You're right I missed this post by Paul
I reckon this gives him more options in what he's going to release.
Keep em coming Paul.

A couple of weeks ago I posted in the SDE commentary asking how one gets a discount code for SDE products as the ordering page has a slot for that. Another poster was complaining about the high cost of shipping over seas or through Europe. The comment itself is still awaiting approval.
As far as I'm aware there has never been a discount code for theSDEShop. I believe that field is built into the online platform Paul uses and not necessarily something he himself ever plans on using, unless, or course, he tires of having stock sitting there for eons like the 12 of 30 titles currently still available to purchase (and even then, he'd be more likely to discount individual titles than give a site-wide discount code).

I'd like to take this one step further, if you don't mind Freddy?

How about top 5 fav/best mixes, and top 5 worst mixes? 🧐
This is merely my top 5 repeat listens/non-repeat-listens and doesn't have any bearing on the mixes themselves (my system is currently packed away as my house has been staged for sale - it's a 7.1 system with a hopeful upgrade to atmos after moving - so the last few blu-ray title releases are sitting not listened to).

Repeat listens (Note, the upcoming TT release might replace one of these):
Bob Dylan - Time Out of Mind
Tears for Fears - Hurting
ABC - Lexicon of Love
Duran Duran - Danse Macabre (I usually hate covers, but these interpretations sound very unique)
Ultravox - Lament

Honourable mentions: Tipping Point, One Deep River

Non-repeat listens:
Brian Eno - Foreverandevernomore
Orbital - Optical Delusion
Various - Concert for George
Trevor Horn - Echoes: Ancient and Modern (see aforementioned comment about covers)
Tori Amos - Unrepentant Geraldines

Unhonourable mentions: Hopes and Fears, Never Too Much

Not an exclusive title. No number, no SDE-branded slipcase.
Ok, I see, thanks. So it was simply released by Parlophone, and avaiable via normal retail channels, not just via the SDE Shop. Good to know. I kept checking out the site to see if there were any new copies showing up, hoping I could avoid having to resort to eBay at silly prices. Actually that may still be the case.

Quite special that they used the proper High-Fidelity Pure Audio packaging. I reckon that may be the first title from a major record company in years to do so.

I'm not sure where you are Jens, but Pet Shop Boys Nonetheless blu-ray audio is still available locally for me at JBHifi for NZ$56.99 (with 10% off during most public holidays). It does also still seem to be available via theSDEShop.

You're right! I could swear it was sold out last time I checked.

Anyway, I found out in the meantime there are also lots of copies to be found for very normal prices on Discogs. Might gift this to myself for Christmas. Thanks for your reply!

Just-to-confirm.... The Pet Shop Boys, Nonetheless blu-ray audio disc is not part of SDE's numbered 'Exclusive Surround Series'. You do however get an 'exclusive' cardboard slipcase if you order from SDE.

This disc can be purchased from the Pet Shop Boys own web site/shop: https://shop.petshopboys.co.uk/gb/pet-shop-boys/nonetheless-blu-ray/5054197903656.html
