In case you haven't had the chance to hear and/or acquire some of the Nat "King" Cole SACDs that were released a few years ago, you cannot go wrong with any

These are the sort of titles that once they've gone out of print will fetch high
I wish I had lots of extra investment cash, cause I'd like to invest some cash in buying up bargain priced SACDs, mostly but not all the ones with multi-chan layers. Then in five years, maybe eight, I could have a big sale flipping them for $50, $60 and up. You know Simon how I like doing those online record sales sometimes.

Not every disc is going to be a winner as an investment, but I think I could pick some of them.

Analogue Productions released seven titles, 6 of which feature three track multichannel playback (it's great to hear Nat's voice isolated in the center channel). Audio Fidelity has two stunning SACDs in its catalog that are every bit as good as the Analogue Productions ones. The second one, The Christmas Song, is getting it's first worthy remastering in digital format and can be found at an incredible price (at the moment) here.

These are the sort of titles that once they've gone out of print will fetch high prices.

I know exactly how you feel. I'd do the same thing. I have a suspicion that those AF Quad titles will also be part of those in ten years time.

You did have some great sales. :)

It is astounding! If you don't have any of the others, try to get some before they're hard to find. They are really worth it.

Yeah, it's just Zappa with one of his hottest bands at their peak performance level filmed and recorded exquisitely. No big deal.

Haha, I meant no offense against Zappa. I actually really like a few of his albums a lot. It's just that every time I see the word Roxy somewhere on this forum, I lament the fact that we still don't have that new 5.1 mix of the first Roxy Music album, something that I'm DYING to hear!

There are so many items coming in the next 2 months...I'm on the fence with a few of them...like this one

I don't know much about this particular surround mix, but I love the album, so you can bet I'll definitely be picking up the Blu-Ray Audio disc of this title when it comes out. No need for the big box of this one, especially since it is not a Steven Wilson remix like "Sparkle in the Rain" was.

The fact that it's a standalone blu ray certainly makes it easier to purchase....I just would like to know more about the mix...

Sorry RT, I should have been a little clearer, but as a Zappa fan of close to 50 years I got excited when I found out that my Live at the Roxy disc was shipping. I wanted to spread the news to other Zappa fans as quickly as possible.@:

Unfortunately, I'm waiting on a replacement of The Beatles Love: Screen shot 2015-10-30 at 6.21.32 PM.png My current copy goes haywire at Come Together/ Dear Prudence/ Cry Baby Cry:howl. Fortunately, reasonably priced replacements are still available.

I'm still waiting on the Gentle Giant Octopus cd/Blu ray set and Jethro Tull's Too Old To Rock and Roll set everything else is accounted for.
