I am (still) waiting for:
YES - Tales From Topographic Oceans This would be the ultimate dream of dreams in 5.1 direct from the multi-track. I get chills just thinking about it. High The Memory!
Pink Floyd - The Wall. I've always loved this since it came out. I don't get what all the detractor's claim. It seemed the logical endpoint of where PF were headed. A masterpiece, made for surround 20 years prior to the technology of 5.1. I can't wait. :music
Pink Floyd - Animals. IMHO PF grew & matured from DSOTM all the way through to The Wall. Dogs alone, in surround, calls for a Global Rejoicing.
All Alan Parsons, esp.
I Robot & Pyramid. Hey Alan Parsons! WTF??? Wake Up lad, sell your music. We aren't getting any younger.
Marillion - Marbles. How is this
not in 5.1??? IMHO, perhaps the greatest recording of the 21st century. Instant classic.
I've purchased recently:
Steve Hackett - Box Set ... can't wait for that beautiful D-tuned 12 string in "Narnia" in 5.1 from Please Don't Touch.
:music
YES - Fragile
Gentle Giant - Octopus I would never have believed us GG fans would see the day. GG might not be the
greatest prog band, but somehow they became the most "
special" with Octopus-P&G-Free Hand.
THANK YOU Steven Wilson for making this happen.
Jethro Tull - Aqualung Deluxe w/BluRay at (semi)rape me price.
(what am I supposed to do with the LP?
@
Jethro Tull - Too Old... These oversized "book" releases should be a model format for all releases.
....for surround releases we had a rough beginning of 2015 while SW was on tour, but 2015 is ending with a bang!
