Listening now to the hard disc SHM CD Disc 9.
A little story I was at the infamous show, The Who at The Cow Palace, Nov 20th, 1973. It was the first show (12 Shows) of there Quadrophenia Tour. Keith Moon was too high and fell off his drum chair twice, Pete said he had jet lag, yeah right. They asked for a drummer to play from the audience, he did and played two songs, The Who split and fans where pissed off including me.
The best news of the night was Lynyrd Skynyrd opened the show, and blew everyone's socks off, we all bought Lynyrd Skynrd albums the next day. Free Bird was born in San Francisco and the rest was history. Glad to have been there.
So this concert Disc 9 DEC 13th 1971, was before that, which I did not go to.
The venue is now called Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
I was a long time rock concert poster collector and I could never find a poster listing The Who and Lynyrd Skynrd at the 1973 Cow Palace, but many years ago I purchased the news paper clipping from eBay, happy day to find it. Hangs in my garage now. This shot is just partial to show the dates. I also have the poster for the concert but only lists The Who.

Disclaimer: the below statement is (somewhat) tongue-in-cheek👅…so don’t take it TOO seriously 🙃

Starting to dig through the box set CD’s.
Pete’s demos are nothing short of amazing.
It’s incredible how fully formed the songs are even as demos.
I had the same feeling after listening to the “Scoop” albums:
It can be argued if The Who were the world’s best band - but there is no doubt they were the world’s best cover band 😜

I am running dvdae (8.5.0 on linux) on the bluray and picking the right things to extract always confuses me.
Is this the right choice for the 5.1?

And this for the atmos?

I didn't figure anything out from mediainfo.

DTS = 5.1
TrueHD = Atmos

One of the LPCM tracks for the original album is the original mix, one is the SW remix. Only SW remix for the bonus tracks.

In your screenshots above, you're selecting 5.1 (DTS) for the original album and Atmos (TrueHD) for the bonus tracks.

Be sure to select Direct Stream Demux as the output format to include Atmos metadata. Then you'll need a player to play the .thd files that are output. VLC does. And if you already knew all this......... sorry.

Weird .. here is a screenshot I just took .. I wonder why you don’t see what I’m seeing ?
Can't see from your screenshot; who is the seller?

When I look (I am in the US), I see the $226 price from Amazon. I see another seller has it for $209 without free shipping, but I tend to avoid third-party sellers on Amazon.

It does actually; the seller is listed as OxfordshireEngland in your screenshot. (The "ships from" is also specifying a company name, not a location.)

Personally, I'd avoid it.
