Hi everyone! :)

I'm pretty excited about this and I've pre-ordered mine with Amazon.co.uk as it's the best deal for me in Canada. As most people here, I cannot wait to hear this. This was my first exposure to Yes, and it remains my favourite of theirs.

To hear two 5.1 mixes of this will be quite a treat.

Actually Burning Shed is slightly cheaper at 17.82 pounds whereas Amazon is 18.91 pounds (both prices include shipping). I'm waiting until after the release date because based on past experience ImportsCD will offer it as a Amazon.ca Market Place seller. Should be around $32.00 cdn - not a huge saving but something.

Thanks for letting me know of the alternatives! I really like dealing with Amazon.co.uk as I get my stuff quickly and never have to pay for custom fees. I've stopped dealing with importCDs after years of buying from them as my last few purchases were not only in bad shape, but their customer service has also dropped. I'm glad others have better experiences than I did with them.

Hey man - options are our best friend...and Clint and others are quick to find the options, which I really appreciate...

Re ImportsCD - I hear you. I only buy from them as an Amazon Marketplace seller; never direct. That way I get all the usual Amazon customer service and guarantees.

importcds uses Amazon fulfillment whether you order from them or Amazon.
I gave up on them for awhile as their shipping was ridiculously slow.
Now they just ship from the Amazon warehouse in Hebron, Ky which I also believe is a UPS hub.

For a period of time Amazon UK shipments went south as well, really long time(14 business days) for no reason I could figure except for English customs.
That has since returned to its former predictable time frame and Burning Shed has as well.
Living on the west coast, if the price is right shipments from Japan are amazingly fast.
Amazon CA in my experience is by far the slowest for no apparent reason other than they're Canadian.
Shipments from Japan and the UK have to come to the US mainland via air.
That part is a matter of hours.
Japan shipments go through West Coast customs, uber fast. UK goes through UK customs generally pretty quick now.

AND the delays continue…
I just got emails from Burning Shed saying that the release date for both editions of "Fragile" have been postponed one week to November 7th.

And they've just sent another email stating that XTC's Oranges & Lemons has now been put back to October 30th

Good! :p

Helps us save up more money between now and then! :D

Has Preminitions also been delayed?
That £87 would buy me a lot of old quad records.. ;)

I'm not saving any money by these delays, cause Burning Shed charged me months ago for my preorders of "Fragile" and "Oranges & Lemons".
And today, just when I think that "THRAK" will ship at the end of the week, I cancel my amazon.co.uk preorder and go with Burning Shed only to find out that it's been delayed too, and I don't get to hang onto that $130 for another week like I would like to.
But AFAIK, "Premonitions" is still set to be released on the 23rd, and "Octopus" is still set to be released on the 30th.

Yeppers me too, message from the Shed: delay for "Fragile" and "Oranges & Lemons" so to console myself I just ordered me a copy of David Gilmour the 2 CD + 2 DVD Set - Live In Gdansk with "On An Island" in 5.1, Sealed! Yay I feel much better...my bank account not so much...hah! take that stupid bank account :smack:

I rather enjoy On An Island in 5.1. Hopefully you will as well. :)

Big fan of Gilmour since the Electric Moo days, one of my main influences for wanting to play the geetar. But I like all things Gilmour and Gdansk and On an Island have been a long time coming. Now if David would go back and revisit his first 2 in hi-rez 5.1 that would be a good thing they deserve it and more importantly I deserve it :upthumb.

Oh, I'd love his first LP in 5.1! I love that album!

From what I know, Burning Shed seems to be the best with the Blu-Ray (including shipping) coming to about $27.
So far, I haven't seen anything better than that.

Deep Discount is offering the blu-ray edition for $23.39, and the DVD-A edition for $20.39. PLUS they're giving a 15% discount thru Thurs. the 15th at noon (CST). Free shipping at $25.00 or more. Probably doesn't get better than that right now.

Don't shoot me...I'm only the messenger but Deep Discount gets a lot of bad reviews:

http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Deep_Discount

http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.deepdiscount.com

I've purchased a lot of things from them and never had a problem...actually the real scam artist appears to be that resellerratings website...they try to extort money from legit companies by giving them bad reviews..I know a business that they attempted to scam...check this out

Deep Discount is run by the same entity that runs ImportCDs - DirectToU, LLC - so, they have some of the same problems - most notably for me, is packaging. If you order something in a jewel case of any kind, there's about an 80% chance it'll arrive cracked. They just don't seem to get it. Their packaging is not very protective.
