Deep Discount is run by the same entity that runs ImportCDs - DirectToU, LLC - so, they have some of the same problems - most notably for me, is packaging. If you order something in a jewel case of any kind, there's about an 80% chance it'll arrive cracked. They just don't seem to get it. Their packaging is not very protective.

I'm not crazy about the packaging...but I've been lucky so far and even the jewel box SACD's haven't been damaged...that's one nice thing about blu ray audio...it's just plastic...

AND the delays continue…
I just got emails from Burning Shed saying that the release date for both editions of "Fragile" have been postponed one week to November 7th.

I got that e-mail too, not to worry though what with the Steve Hackett Premonitions box, KC Thrak, VU Loaded box Hendrix Electric Church, The Stones Tokyo Dome, Zappa Roxy BR's due on the 30th I'll have enough to get through...then a week later on 6/7th Nov, blimey even more to come through the door.

Yeah, I'm honestly not that disappointed about the delay on "Fragile", but I am more disappointed about the delays on "THRAK" and "Oranges & Lemons", especially as I thought they might be shipping at the end of this week. I've also been in a bit of a rut regarding surround over the last few weeks and am anxiously looking forward to some new mixes to get me excited again. I'm looking forward to the problem of not having enough time to go through everything once it all comes in. ;)

Here's a teaser Yes posted on their website of an alternate version of "South Side of the Sky". It's really quite fascinating indeed!

AND here's a very short teaser of the new bonus track "All Fighters Past". Once again, this should also be very interesting for all of the Yes fans on this board! :)

Looks good  So the inclusion of the 2002 DVD-A mix is confirmed.

Hello guv:violin

How ya been me ole china?!?! Great photo in your avatar, I'm still mourning Chris' passing. Still can't believe he's gone.

Nice spot, I have always enjoyed my 2002 DVD-A and its fantastic to now get SW's take.

Lots of quality extras here. This disc is a fine example of "value", kinda like the upcoming Roger Water's Wall, but completely opposite.@:

Although I was praying for Tales to come next... ALL YES from YES to Drama needs Steven Wilson's magic touch, so I am tickled pink that another classic YES is available. I ordered mine through Steven's store, so I eagerly await.

:music

Agreed, such good value, another box set in a small package for a small price (y)

I think Clint will be swooping in here to post a video about being regular...gotta be a commercial somewhere.... :violin

Yes.....

It will probably be "TALES " and/or "DRAMA" up next for 2016, hopefully both.

But for me I am eagerly hoping for "90125" and "TIME AND A WORD" and of course Chris' s FISH OUT OF WATER"

Two to three YES albums per annum would be nice.

Although Squire made mention that Fish Out of Water was already mixed in 5.1 and thus waiting for a release date, I do sorta hope that Wilson got to work on the album. Seems unlikely but I'm sure he'd work some magic for sure. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I was hoping that, like 2014, we would get two Yes remixes this year too ("Fragile" in the Spring and "Tales from Topographic Oceans" in the Fall) but I don't think they wanted to compete with themselves with the release of "Progeny" in the Spring, so that's probably why we're only getting "Fragile" this year.
I'm thinking we'll probably just get "Tales from Topographic Oceans" next year since AFAIK, SW is still not commissioned to remix any other Yes albums other than those classic 5 he's already worked on.

Godd Sir Fizzywigg,

I'll have you know, although I play a lunatic 19th century Lupin bandit here in this forum, I am even a BIGGER YES Lunatic in real life. (y)

Have you heard some special news about Drama? I would think GFTO & Tormato would come out next if we are lucky enough to get Tales...

There's been no word of any S.W. YES remixing plans past the 1974 period that Steven Wilson agreed to.

Perhaps we can get Plan9 on the case! He would do an outstanding 5.1 remixing job, I think.

Fish Out of Water would be a dream come true for me, in addition it would SOUND spectacular. That recording is so crystal clear and stands out among the other 1975 era recordings. It would be dreamy in surround if only for the sound quality!

I would enjoy 90125 as well. Yes, I full agree, we should mandate at least three YES related 5.1 releases per annum, but not per ano. ;)

@Colsky. Thinking of you on a late Friday afternoon overlooking the Thames with a liter of chardonnay in hand really floats my boat. :party

P.S. What would be so wrong to get 3,4 or 5 YES 5.1 remixes all at once? Elton John released most of the Greg Penny remixes all at once.

I thought I had read somewheres that both Tales and Drama were being considered and then somehow GFTO and Tales were to come next, so given that I'm unsure of the order of release schedule, I could be out to lunch with my release order (could be the drugs?).

And HERE, HERE to your profound wish of 4-5 YES surrounds per annum!

I second that motion, wholly and completely.

Afterall, they do have a large catalogue of tasteful wonders to come.
